Great news for the Algarve! More two Michelin stars were given to restaurants in the Algarve.
Gusto at Quinta do Lago Conrad Algarve and Vista at Portimão’s Bela Vista Hotel were the only restaurants in Portugal that received this prize for 2018.
With these new award winning restaurants, Portugal now has 23 Michelin Stars restaurants and 8 of those are here in the Algarve.
The restaurants in the Algarve with two stars are:
Vila Joya – Chef Dieter Koschina, Albufeira
Ocean – Chef Hans Neuner, Alporchinhos
With one star:
Vista – Chef João Oliveira, Portimão
Gusto by Heinz Beck – Chef Heinz Beck, Almancil
Henrique Leis – Chef Henrique Leis, Almancil
São Gabriel – Chef Leonel Pereira, Almancil
Willie’s – Willie Wurger, Vilamoura
Bon Bon – Rui Silvestre in Carvoeiro.
So, now there are plenty more great reasons to visit the Algarve and taste the beautiful dishes made by these renowned chefs!
