The fantastic Lagos Zoo brings together exotic species of animals to make visitors aware of the incredible biodiversity of planet Earth. In addition to a great concern for animal welfare, Lagos Zoo actively participates in the protection of its environment and its species, which its program of protection and reinsertion in nature of the Iberian Lynx constitutes a perfect example.
For 2018, Lagos Zoo has two novelties.
Penguins – The first consists of the new penguins that were brought in to the Zoo. In addition to a new space dedicated to these animals, there is now a swimming pool next to the lake of the penguins that allows zoo visitors to swim next to the penguins, which is an excellent way to admire the agility of these beautiful animals.
Puppet Show – Another new feature for the 2018 Summer season is the new puppet show schedule that now starts at 12.30 and ends at 5:00 p.m., every day. If you happen to take your kids to Lagos Zoo don’t forget to check out this hilarious puppet show.
